Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is the Land of the Lustrous floor mat safe to use in a child's bedroom?
A: Yes! The mat is made from 100% polyester with no high-concern chemicals, making it odourless and safe for use in bedrooms, children's rooms, and living areas. The non-slip PVC dot backing also adds an extra layer of safety on hard floor surfaces.
Q: How do I remove creases after unpacking my anime flannel floor mat?
A: Fold marks from shipping will naturally disappear on their own after the mat is laid flat for a period of time. If you'd like to speed up the process, use a garment steamer or iron set to a low-temperature steam setting over the mat until it lies completely flat.
Q: Can this anime rug be used in high-moisture areas like a bathroom or kitchen?
A: Yes — the mat is designed for multi-purpose indoor use including bathrooms, kitchens, and entryways. The non-woven polyester backing with PVC dots helps grip the floor and resists moisture transfer. We recommend keeping the mat dry where possible to preserve the vibrant print and extend its lifespan.
Q: How do I clean the Land of the Lustrous flannel doormat?
A: For best results, gently hand wash or machine wash on a delicate cycle using cold water and mild detergent. Avoid bleach and high-heat drying to preserve the fade-resistant anime print. Lay flat or hang to air dry.
