Installation Steps
Note: It is not necessary to remove the sunroof frame completely to install the roller shutter.
- Jack up the front glass of the sunroof (do not open it). Locate the two screws on the left and right sides between the front and rear glass.
- Remove the interior ceiling trim. Locate the two screws on left and right sides of the rear glass (visible under the sealing strip). Remove the rear glass and its two fixing screws.
- Pull the left and right coil springs of the damaged sunshade evenly to the rear using the blue button.
- Remove the old roller shutter. Insert the new one with the two included clips (remove the two small metal inserts first to seat the coil spring), then slide the coil spring into the track.
- Align the buckle with the metal buckle and the blue track buckle, then connect into the roller shutter.
- Lock the roller shutter, close it toward the front, and secure the two screws in the roof sealing strip.
- Reinstall the glass and interior trim, reconnect all components, then press to reset the sunroof and roller shutter.
