Electric Soldering Iron 220V 100W–300W | Workshop Welding Tool
Electric Soldering Iron 220V — High-Power Workshop Welding Tool
Whether you're tackling electronics repairs, DIY projects, or professional workshop tasks, this 220V Electric Soldering Iron delivers consistent, high-output performance across four power options: 100W, 150W, 200W, and 300W. Built from premium stainless steel with a durable plastic handle, it's designed for demanding workshop use. Made in Mainland China.
Key Features
- Four power options: 100W Pointed Head, 150W Pointed Head, 200W Elbow, 300W Elbow — choose the right tool for every job
- Rapid heat-up: Dual-structure heating elements bring the tip to working temperature quickly and maintain a steady constant temperature
- Stainless steel construction: High resistance to rust and thermal oxidation ensures long-lasting durability
- Glass-fibre reinforced body: Added glass fibre improves overall structural strength
- Double-insulation handle: Keeps the grip cool and comfortable during extended use
- Moisture-resistant design: Not easily exposed to moisture, keeping performance consistent in varied workshop environments
- Lightweight & practical: Slim, well-balanced profile reduces hand fatigue during prolonged soldering sessions

Usage Precautions
- Always rest the soldering head in a stand when not actively soldering.
- Do not use strongly acidic flux with this iron.
- Never strike the tip with hard objects such as a hammer or chisel.
- When re-tinning the tip, polish lightly with fine sandpaper, then re-immerse in flux at approximately 250 °C. If using a non-temperature-controlled model, briefly power off to slightly lower the tip temperature before tinning.
- Do not attempt to remove or modify electrical components while the iron is energised.
- On first use, a brief smoke/odour from the heating element is normal and will dissipate within approximately 10 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What power variants are available for this electric soldering iron?
A: This soldering iron is available in four power options — 100W Pointed Head, 150W Pointed Head, 200W Elbow, and 300W Elbow. Higher wattage variants are ideal for larger joints and heavy-gauge materials, while the 100W and 150W pointed heads are great for precision electronics work.
Q: Does this soldering iron work in countries outside China?
A: The iron operates at 220V / 50Hz and comes with a CN (China) plug. It is compatible with countries that use 220V mains power. If your local outlets use a different plug format, you will need a suitable plug adapter (not included). If your country uses 110V, a step-up transformer would also be required.
Q: Why does the iron smoke on first use?
A: A small amount of smoke or odour during the first use is completely normal. It comes from the initial burn-off of manufacturing residues on the heating element and will naturally dissipate within approximately 10 minutes. Ensure adequate ventilation during this initial period.
Q: How do I maintain the soldering tip for the best results?
A: To keep the tip in top condition, always tin it before and after use. If the tip becomes oxidised or resists taking solder, lightly polish it with fine sandpaper, re-apply flux, and re-tin at around 250 °C. Store the iron in a dry location and always use a stand to protect the tip when not in use.
